A passport is required with at least six months’ validity and a blank page for the entry visa
Entry Visa:
Visa is obtained on arrival in Kenya, at Mombasa and Nairobi airports or in Italy, at the Kenya Embassy in Rome.
For Kenya no vaccination is mandatory. If you go to Tanzania and then go to Kenya it is compulsory to vaccinate against yellow fever. We recommend antimalarial prophylaxis. Before leaving for a holiday go to your doctor and advise on the type of prophylaxis most appropriate. During the holiday, it is good to follow some preventive behavioral rules: from sunset, we recommend wearing long-sleeved shirts and long trousers, using skin-repellent and sleeping with mosquito nets.

Currency:
In Kenya the currency is the Kenyan Shilling, divided into 100 cents, and is worth about 0.011 euros.
The official languages are Kiswahili and English. In Malindi is also quite used Italian.
The climate is typically tropical. The coast benefits from the influence of monsoons that make the temperature pleasant and swinging between 24 and 30 degrees. May and June are the months of the rainy season.
It’s international. Good fruit, fish and shellfish. We recommend that you try the local specialties.
We recommend a sportswear and practical clothing, especially if you are going to make safari, with comfortable and flat shoes or closed boots. For a stay in Malindi, do not forget: hat, sunglasses, protective creams, anti mosquito repellents, umbrella for the rainy season. For the evening, a sweater will definitely be useful. Safari baggage should be reduced to what is needed. We recommend the use of comfortable bags.

Kenya is GMT/UTC + 3h Standard Time and does not utilize daylight saving time.
Electrical current:
It ranges from 220 to 240 volts and the sockets are of flat English type, fit with an adapter. There are Italian sockets in Kilili Baharini and everything is in accordance with EEC.
Tipping:
Are welcome. At the end of the safari it is an habit to give a tip to the driver.
